ElBaradei: Egyptian Warmonger
Rational Public Radio ^ | 4/5/11 | Scott Connery

Egypt's slide into a theocracy which threatens the entire region is continuing. Many, especially those on the left, thought the revolution in Egypt was a wonderful outpouring of democratic conviction.

President Obama, and the state department, did nothing to manage the situation as it unfolded over the course of weeks. Many warned that the Muslim Brotherhood would take over. That suggestion was at first dismissed as unlikely, and then as not a problem.

National Intelligence Director James Clapper assured the world that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was "largely secular" shortly before that same brotherhood called for the creation of Islamic morality police.

So, now it's clear that we did trade a corrupt kleptocrat who preyed only on his own people without ruffling foreign feathers for a hard-line regime of Islamic Radicals. By Islamic Radicals, I mean of course, Muslims who have read the Quran and take it seriously. They know the answer to the question: Does Islam Mean Peace? No!

Mohammed ElBaradei, a likely front runner for Mubarak, ominously told the world a few months back that Israel had a peace agreement with Mubarak not with Egypt. That was distressing enough, because it was practically a promise to re-open hostilities between the two nations. Under Mubarak, Egypt had known peace for 30 odd years

ElBaradei is apparently out to change that. He has now upped the ante, and is saying Egypt will attack Israel if it "attacks" Gaza. In Muslim speak this of course means that if Israel defends herself from terrorist attacks, Egypt will attack and claim the mantle of moral righteousness for doing so.

It appears to me that El Cabong Baradi and his sidekick, Barry the Kenyan, need to make a road trip up to Oslo and turn those “Peace prize” medals back in to those loony commie libs up there.

So, the media has this guy, Mohammed ElBaradei, who supposedly speaks for Egyptians? As far as I can tell, this guy’s a legend in his own mind. If he’s got support, it appears to be a mile wide and an inch deep. I could be wrong, but he sounds like an overinflated ego trying out for his 15 minutes in the spotlight.

And the world, led by the U.N. and our clueless pseudo-enlightened White House will be their biggest cheerleaders when it happens.

Nobody wants WAR more than a Peace Prize winner.

It is like a curse.

Give someone a Peace Prize sit back for a while and then watch the cruise missiles fly, listen to the weapons fire, and watch the bombs go BOOM.

If they want to stop war, then stop giving out these stupid ass medals!

It’s really amazing how clueless the Nobel Prize committee is. You would think all these years of abject failure would make them re-consider their ideas.

In the end, Baradei will be road kill on the road to and Islamic State. The old guys in the Muslim Brotherhood won’t allow Baradei to be the Pres of Egypt. He will end up dead or back in NY where he will be lionized for his wisdom.

As I am sure you well know, they have become completely confused as to their purpose.

Instead of rewarding past behavior and accomplishments, they began to use the award as a device to attempt to control future behavior, as evidenced with Arafat and Obama.

They have the megalomaniacal view that by giving the award to a person, no matter how violent, that person then becomes under their auspices somehow.

A very foolish and egocentric way to think and it is antithetical to the original purpose of the award.

If nothing shows what a joke the Nobel Peace Prize has become, this does.

Egypt will attack and claim the mantle of moral righteousness for doing so.

And He/they will get strong moral suport from most of Western Europe, Jew hate is on the surface of many Northern European countrys, and many leftleaning governments are opently suporting the Palestinians and are talking to Hamas and blaming Isreal for most of the problems
And with Obama in charge in Washington, Israel stand pretty much alone

Why? They are all on the same side
It is you and I that are out of step
just hope they kept their nukes in good working order

Clapper needs to resign over his lackadaisical attitude towards the Muslim Brotherhood

so does Zero, but that's a different headline

Sadly, I think you are dead on. Israel must be feeling cornered and isolated. That’s a scary way for a nuclear power to feel.

Clapper couldn’t have been farther off with his assessment of the whole middle eastern unrest. Of course, Obama wouldn’t have listened to him if he was right. He was probably specifically picked because he has a similar outlook as Obama.

Personally, I hope they have tripled their inventory of nukes, and will use them without restraint when necessary.
