A fiery President Obama insisted Tuesday that if he and congressional leaders couldn’t reach a deal to avert a government shutdown, “I want a meeting again tomorrow here at the White House.”
“I will invite the same folks that we invited today,” he added. “And if that doesn’t work, we’ll invite them again the day after that. And I will have my entire team available to work through the details of getting a deal done.”
Obama’s team may not include the president himself. Despite the impasse in Washington over federal spending, the president as of early Wednesday was scheduled to give two speeches outside of Washington: one on energy in the Philadelphia suburbs, then another Wednesday evening to a group of black political activists in New York.
If the schedule remains intact, it will be the president’s first trip outside the capital since he officially declared Monday he will seek a second term. And while Obama (D) and his aides have repeated said he will not focus on his campaign in the next few months, his schedule may contradict those words.
Obama’s town hall on energy will be held at a wind turbine plant in the town of Fairless Hills in Bucks County, a well-known political bellwether in the Philadelphia area. While the city of Philadelphia overwhelmingly votes Democratic, its suburbs swing between the Democratic and Republican parties, making them crucial for Obama’s 2012 campaign.

Using an old page from Clintoon’s campaign, BO schedules a bogus event where he wants to campaign so the cost of the trip is picked up by the taxpayers instead of his campaign slush fund. He’ll be making his Sominex speeches on energy and education from coast to coast as he gets his re-election campaign underway, the expenses paid for by taxpayers, of course.

His work ethic is nonexistent, he’s never really grown up mentally or emotionally beyond 14 or 15. He’s not headed out b/c of fear, he’s too stupid to sense it. Rather he views it as a ‘right’ b/c he put in a couple or 3 half days of work. Its all about Barry all the time....

The Obama Administration quietly approved a plan submitted by an appointee of pro-abortion Gov Edward Rendell under which the new program will cover any abortion that is legal in Pennsylvania.

The law authorizes $5 billion in federal funds for the program, which will cover as many as 400,000 people when it is implemented nationwide.
Obama has officially approved the first instance of taxpayer funded abortions under O'Care---his enforced government-run health care program. This is the kind of abortion funding the pro-life movement warned about when Congress considered the bill.

ObamaCare will subsidize ANY tax-funded abortion. So I guess Obama wants Dr Gosnell back in business.
According to a grand jury's report, it's estimated that Dr Gosnell, 69, made almost $1.8 million each year on abortions alone - and most of it was cash from desperate, poor women. That figure does not account for any of the money he took in from allegedly selling illegal prescriptions to drug addicts in his community, including his notable distinction of being one of the top three prescribers of OxyContin in Pennsylvania, something federal authorities continue to investigate.
But when brought before a judge to explain why he and his wife, Pearl, had not hired attorneys, Gosnell claimed to be broke.The judge didn't buy it and refused to appoint public defenders for the couple.
When investigators searched Gosnell's massive, three-story brick home at 32nd Street and Mantua Avenue, they discovered $240,000 in cash and a gun in a filing cabinet in his 12-year-old daughter's bedroom, according to the grand jury report.
Aside from hiding their profits in their little girl's closet, Gosnell and his wife also invested in real estate. Together, they own as many as 17 properties, including a million dollar beachfront home, according to published reports; prosecutors said they know of at least seven. More at phillynews.com

A raid on Gosnell's chamber of horrors turned up blood on the floor and parts of aborted fetuses displayed in jars. "People were practicing without a license. A non-licensed person was administering drugs. The conditions were horrific, uncleanly, just abysmal," a board spokeswoman told ABC News.
Prosecutors believe Gosnell's Philadelphia abortion clinic frequently delivered late-term babies alive. The Philadelphia abortionist then severed their spines with scissors. The fetal bodies, along with staff lunches were stored in refrigerators at the filthy Philadelphia facility. In February 2004, US Senate candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the "alarming news" that "right-wing politicians" had passed a law (prohibiting doctors from stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls).
Michelle Obama called partial-birth abortion "a legitimate medical procedure. " She urged supporters to pay $150 to attend a fund-raising luncheon for her husband, who she promised would fight against "cynical ploy[s]" to stop it.
BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother's right to "choose" stopped at her baby's delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the House. NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002.
But in Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. Obama worried aloud that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights.
In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion clinics.
BAIPA passed in 2005.........after Obama left the Illinois Senate.
