State Election News: All votes in: Kloppenburg leads unoffcially by 219 votes, recount is next

Wisconsin News

Votes from the final precinct to be counted in the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race are in and tallied and with all the votes and precincts counted across the state, JoAnne Kloppenburg finishes with an unofficial lead of 204 votes over incumbent justice David Prosser.

The final precinct to be counted was the Town of Lake Mills in Jefferson County. Problems with the tally sheets delayed the vote count last evening until just before noon this morning.

Prosser has said he will ask for a statewide recount and given the close margin, the state will pay for it. The final margin was 740,087 for Kloppenburg and 739,883 for Prosser, both sides at 50 percent of the vote in this closely contested election.

There will be no recount until they know for sure how many votes they need.

The unions have really lost power, if they only have a couple hundred votes separating them. They should have easily won. My bet is on Prosser pulling it out.

There is a facebook post on the Live Result thread talking about how people saw registrations being done in the polling stations on the spot, and claims of underage students casting ballots. When complaints by the law abiding were made to the poll station people they were told to mind their own business. So says the post on Facebook anyway.

People get the government, and in this case the judiciary, that they deserve. If the people of Wisconsin really want to bankrupt themselves paying for the fat pensions of state employees, let ‘em.

Some people say I’m a skeptic and, you know, they are probably right. So I want to turn over a new leaf. Here goes:

It is perfectly normal that all important races, where a Democrat is trailing, end with the democrat winning by a handful of votes.

I heard this morning that Prosser had an 800 plus lead. Now, all of a sudden, Kloppy The Horse-faced Girl has taken a 219 vote lead. I’ve got to call horse**** on this.

I doubt that a recount will help Prosser, this is Wisconsin afterall. Milwaukee will find uncounted absentee ballots if necessary.

My only consolation, the unions were hoping for a landslide victory in repudiation of Scott Walker and they didn’t get it. Now we’re probably stuck with a very left leaning supreme court judge with absolutely no experience for 10 years.

EXACTLY

She was losing this morning by over 800 votes with 99% reporting in
Then it got reported she lost by 600 and now all of a sudden she gets all these votes B/S

Don’t count on the DOJ as they’re in this fraud.

Something has to be done about them rigging elections , I’m s pissed off with seeing how they suddenly find a few votes here and there in cars, or in a box in a corner or thye do recounts in only Dem areas

This is complete crap

SHE LOST AND THE GOP NEEDS TO LOCK ALL PLACES UP AND VOTES UP

Other than the national elections in Palm Beach in Florida where Bush defeated Gore, I have yet to see a local ( e.g. state ) elections where a recount was resolved in favor of a Republican.

In fact, even when a recount was possible, the Republican would inevitable simply concede.

Norm Coleman lost in a recount to Al Franken in Minnesota

Dino Rossi lost to Christine Gregoire in a recount in Washington State

Republican Tom Emmer has admitted defeat to Democrat Mark Dayton in the Minnesota governor’s race in 2010

in New York, Republican Randy Altschuler accepted he had lost to incumbent Tim Bishop in the Long Island congressional election.

This Wisconsin election for Supreme Court Judge simply tells me that the people in that state still wants the status quo to continue (otherwise, we’d see Prosser winning the race decisively).

This is complete crap and another election about to be robbed and the people have their votes thrown out

something has to be done about election rigging and fraud

To: Numbers Guy

Can you (or anyone else) tell us just how a recount takes place. My assumption is that first they would double check numbers on each precinct in each county. That being satisfied is it then that they would look at absentee verification and other fraud allegations — or does this all happen at once?

Incumbent or not the union thug machine should have votes floating up from the cement blocks in the river. What Prosser should do is take a 1,000 votes and confirm identity of each voter. Any fraudulent votes should cause a re-vote.
