CENTRAL OHIO - As gasoline prices continue to climb, the oil industry said this week that by 2012, we could be paying not $4 per gallon, but $5. "It scares me," said Sharri Carroll, who was filling up her car in Hilliard Wednesday. "How are you going to afford to fill up your tank every week to get to work?" NBC4 took the concerns Wednesday to John Felmy, a Ph.D. a top official with the American Petroleum Institute. Felmy is one of the country's leading experts on gasoline prices who just happened to be in Columbus Wednesday

I'm thinking more like $8 to $10 dollars per gallon myself. Remember, never let a good crisis go to waste. The commie 'RATS are going to clean up with this one.

That's good news indeed, as I was thinking it would be more on the order of around $15.

What better way to drain money from the citizen’s and make them poorer and MORE dependent on government?

It will be ‘transitory’ because US wages cannot sustain the costs.

If gas goes up above $5 and stays there, it is the end of Obama’s chances at reelection. Our side proposed solutions three years ago, he did the exact opposite and ‘invested in green technologies’ while shutting down drilling and slowing the coal industry. He’s on the hook.

The American people vote based on their own circumstances...period. Look at every election in modern history, and the guy at the helm is selected solely based on where individuals think their personal economic situation is at the time of election. If things are ok or good, the same party keeps the seat. If things are not good, the other party gets the reigns of government.

How are going to afford to eat? Tractors, combines and 18 wheelers don’t operate on good intentions.

It's the 2011 way of saying, "better put some ice on that."

I have a neighbor with a “kiss my gas Bush” bumper sticker.
I think he still thinks it’s Bush’s fault.
You can’t “fix” stupid.

I predict that when you pick up your welfare check, food stamps, WIC, etc. a gas voucher will soon be provided.

“How are going to afford to eat? Tractors, combines and 18 wheelers don’t operate on good intentions.”

The simple answer? You won’t. You’ll starve.

Silly Americans. Calm down. As Obomba said, we can simply buy more oil from Brazil and George Soros. Why do you think he gave Brazil $2 billion in US tax dollars to develop their off-shore drilling capabilities!

Gas prices “could rise” to “as much as” $38 per gallon. (Just pick a scary number for your scary headline)

According to DemocRAT theology if the price gets to $5 and not $15
then it's counted as a reduction in price.

Better prediction than $5.

Ok, first economist are saying that prolonged $4 a gallon gas will send us back into recession, add to that a double dipping housing market and inflation on food and clothes it’s all but certain.

Now toss in not $4 a gallon but $5 a gallon gas to this economic nightmare and the bottom is anyone’s guess.

Tell me how does Osama expect to get reelected with the country in the throws of a recession that’ll be worse than the one we just clawed our way out of?

Oy! It's the same concept as "saved jobs"! Scary, but the MSM would only be too willing to push such propaganda.
