That's true, of course; however, Trump isn't a conservative, isn't really a GOPer ( he's changed his voting registration several times ), has NEVER held a political office ( okay, some might think that that's a great thing, but it really isn't, where Trump is concerned; ditto for Herman Cain ), nor even tried to hold one.

Sure he has tons of "friends" who are politicians and knows some of the backroom guys too, but campaigning is a whole different ball game, as is actually doing the job, as Barry has learned.

People voted for Obama because they fell for the Hopey/Changey crud. Will people do the same thing, voting blindly, for Trump, just because he's now taken on the "birther" mantle and sort of looks "strong"? No doubt some will, but many won't.

I was at Walmart, shopping for nothing in particular when I saw your response and I openly laughed at it. LOL

I was looking some weird “bargain” on .22 LR’s (500 for $18 bucks) and I thought “What the hell. Maybe there is a secret decoder ring in there or something”.

Well when I got home I emptied all the boxes of ammo into some plastic bowls(my friends freaked “What if they go off?!!) Of course I yelled back “Aaagghhhhh! My Gawd! Magnum!!! How stoopid are you? Really?”

They then wanted to know what I was looking for and I said I was looking for why the box was a bonus. It doesn’t say exactly what the bonus is. So my brother calls me and I’m telling him my friend freaked about me pouring 5 boxes of .22’s into some Tupperware and he is laughing his azz off.

He’s like “The are just that stoopid, aren’t they” and I’m like “Are you serious? We live in Kahleeforneeyah”

So he is really laughing and wants to know what I’m looking for in these boxes and I say “Well, I bought these things, 550 rounds for $18 bucks and it says BONUS on the box. So I’m thinking there must a Green Lantern Secret Decoder Ring in her somewhere or I get some other Cracker Jack Prize”.

He starts howling over the phone and says “The bonus is 550 rounds as opposed 500 rounds, LAMO!”

and he just hangs up.

So I’m looking at some 2,500 rounds, in a Tupperware bowl and no prize and I’m thinking ....Shiite! I dunn bought stuff I don’t need to find a prize! Nows I gots to repack this crud and go sulk cuz I aint’s getting nuthin!”.

And my LAMO friends are still freaked by me pouring the ammo back into the original packaging.
