Base in the hole (Even black voters slip from prez)

No wonder he's become such good pals with Al Sharpton.

President Obama's approval ratings among black voters plummeted last month to their lowest levels ever, while his support among Hispanics took a tumble in the same period, according to a surprising new poll released yesterday.

Blacks continue to back him by a wide margin, with 85 percent of respondents saying they approved of him in the latest Gallup poll.

But that number dropped a hefty 5 percentage points from last month, marking the lowest rating among that core constituency that he's had since taking office.

He also dropped 5 points among Hispanics, sliding from 59 percent to 54, according to the poll. That number ties his July and August 2010 lows.

The one-two punch among two groups that helped usher him into the White House comes just after he announced the kickoff of his 2012 election campaign.

So

Even if they disapprove of him, at best that means he will only get 96.3% of the black vote instead of 96.5%

Nah. The worse was back in 08 with the black panther “intimidate the election booth” stuff but now that the homeboys did not get their Escalades, they’re smarting from it. Most of the black dudes I know of here in L.A. still drink the O Kool Aid. Either way, they’ll still vote black..even IF the politician is a child-molesting, murderer, the homeys still vote the same color.

Don't forget “major” and “unprecedented”.

Support for Obama among Blacks is down to 85%, which is 11 points below the 96% who voted for him. If this trend continues into the 2012 election, the Black vote totals in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Camden, and other inner cities might actually fall below 115% of the eligible voters.

Exactly. They will be there for him when it counts. The most racist people in America are liberal Black people, followed closely by liberal White people.

85% supported Obama, 2% supported the generic Republican, and the other 13% said “Obama ain’t payin’ fo’ my gas an’ food enuff.”

Sadly, inflation is probably the only thing that will even dent his support that much. And then it’s more of a case of “you need to give me more” instead of “you’re running the country into the ground by being a socialist, you moron.” The corrosive effects of over 60 years (and counting) of professional victimhood education are very, very hard to overcome. When you have brilliant black men like Clarence Thomas and Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell dismissed as “uncle Toms” and a total cipher like The Won held up as a role model (along with rappers and pro athletes)...that’s just sad.

They were certainly willing to lie outright as a Party and paint the entire TEA Party as vile all-white racists last year.

It didn’t work, but when has that ever stopped them from repeated use of one of their biggest trumpcards?

2010 was just the beginning of ugly.

2011 will be the summer of the unions unrest.

2012 Election year..., all bets are off.

My guess is he will lose the greatest level of support when the 2008 liberal white guilt voters realize they bought the liberal lie and vote accordingly in 12.

-——85 percent of respondents saying they approved of him -——

That is bad news indeed. Years ago I studied the subject and calculated that around 88% black Rat voters was the tipping point. Below 88 % Rats lose the advantage.

The question for the day is, What trumps race? What precipitates the slide? second, who slid?

I do know a handful of folks who voted for him, who now openly refer to him in terms that would get me zotted in nano-seconds here.

This is gonna be the Us Against Whitey election. Gonna be real ugly.

It will be ugly. It will be on us to resist the provocations of these cynics too, and not rise to the bait.

Obama has made it very clear with whom he is more comfortable with. Surrounded by progressive activists and top adviser Valerie Jarrett and of course his tacky “beer Summit” did little to quell his racism. This president is far from being a fair man or an honest man....he loves the hi-life however!
