“Pro-gun owners”

Why do we need a term to describe people who understand the Second Amendment? What’s wrong with “gun-grabbing scumbags” and “the rest of us?”

“...say this worked just as it was supposed to. The gun protected and did no harm.”

The family was protected, true, but “did no harm?” If it had been a home invasion by bad outlaws, the way it should have ended would have been with bad-outlaw corpses littered about the premises.

Fortunately, a night of binge drinking and (probably) drunk driving led to nothing more than the dry heaves and some embarrassment. I bet this gets Pawlenty (who had nothing to do with it) more negative press than Teddy Kennedy got for a similar night of revelry in which a woman lost her life.

“New gun laws in Iowa make it legal for people with permits to carry their guns in full sight.”

Old gun laws in the U.S. Constitution guarantee a citizen’s right to carry his/her guns, period.

Note to Presidential candidates. It’s always good to know a bit about who is working for you.

No mention of his political affiliation. Must be a Democrat.
