I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those "Aww" stories where later you find out that one of the unlikely animal friends ended up eating the other.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those "Aww" stories where later you find out that one of the unlikely animal friends ended up eating the other. If that goose ends up eating that deer, that would make this story so horrifically awesome!
