A citizen reporter for The Post & Email.. said that the source reported that “It couldn’t have gone any better.”
Reporter: Trump gave them > 30 minutes. WorldNetDaily had been patched in somehow and apparently had been privy to what was going on. Also, there were a lot of media outside ..
Reporter: Rep. Carl Seel, Jeff, & Kelly, who represented a tea party group. ..Trump didn’t seem to know about the “natural born Citizen” issue at all. He gave Jeff homework by saying, “I want to know everything about ‘natural born Citizen,’ and I want to know about these reports from Kenya when members of the Kenyan Parliament had talked about Obama having been born there.”
Reporter: .. He has made a pledge that he will to to Arizona in the summer. He fully supports the Arizona eligibility bill..I was told that the primary topics of the meeting were the Arizona eligibility bill and Obama’s eligibility.
There was no follow-up meeting scheduled. When they came out of the meeting, Rep. Carl Seel spoke to the press. However, Jeff was assured that some “good stuff” was shared with the press. As they were leaving, Theresa Cao said something to Jeff, who was trying to figure out who she was. He asked her, “Are you Theresa Cao?” and she said, “Yes, I am.”

Those birth announcements weren’t “phony”...but they weren’t actually even placed by the Obamas either. They were a regular process of the newspapers that published information registered with the county health dept. (Which the Dunham’s made sure they did to “legitamize” Obama.)

Absolutely Vendome. I won't repeat your explanation because it is clear and correct. The question is about their strategy. There is precedent. It is important to know that Obama’s Constitutional Law Professor, Larry Tribe, wrote the legal analysis cited by the Leahy/McCaslill resolution, SR 511. This is Larry's specialty. Larry sat on Obama’s campaign committee, as did McCaskill. (Larry was also protected from the consequences of his plaigiarizing much of another book, word-for-word, by Elena Kagan, then Harvard Law Dean.)
Tribe would have known about what Sharon Rondeau exposed, the lengthy brief published in the largest circulation legal publication of the time, Chicago Legal News, by Breckenridge Long exposing former supreme court justice Charles Evans Hughes' ineligibility; Hughes was born of parents who were British Subjects. That was in 1916. After losing to Wilson, Hughes was reappointed the the court, Chief Justice, where, in 1939, he wrote the decision for Perkins v. Elg, in which Morrison Waite's definition (...it was never doubted...at common-law...of parents who were its citizen...) was cited. Apparently Hughes thought he could suppress the issue, just as Obama has done. What would have happened if Hughes had beaten Woodrow Wilson?
A similarly thorough analysis of McCain's ineligibility was published at the John Rogers Law School of the University of Arizona by Professor Gabriel Chin “Why Senator John McCain Cannot Be President: Eleven Months and a Hundred Yards Short of Citizenship.” It can only be conjecture, but this thorough Chin analysis covered the legal issues with detail sufficient for a lawsuit. This, and Senate Res 511 were what silenced Republican objections to Obama’s lack of natural born Citizenship. The Breckenridge Long paper was similarly thorough.
A political historian would have to illuminate the political context for the Charles Evans Hughes campaign, since Woodrow Wilson appears to have been a natural born Citizen. Hughes was a Republican and Long a Democrat, and the Chicago Legal News brief was a shot across the bow. McCain's natural born citizenship problem has been a topic for at least ten years. He was, it turns out, not born on sovereign soil, nor was the Canal Zone under sovereign jurisdiction until 1937 McCain did provide a birth certificate, and Gabriel Chin published the facts in a peer-reviewed legal journal. That was the shot across the bow of the Republican party
Most of us find the jus soli restriction to children of military in need of change. Those who put their lives on the line to protect our Constitution should be reputed natural born, but, as Obama/McCaskill pointed out in their February 2008 Bill, SB 2678, it is not now the case (Their bill was called "A Bill To Insure That Foreign Born Children of Military Citizen are Eligible to be President." Had McCaskill/Obama meant to fix it, they would have submitted an amendment. McCain's ineligibility was an opportunity, the perfect opportunity allowing the far left to run its British/Kenyan community activist. It is why the Democrats went to such extent to support McCain's legal problems, all but shutting down the NYT and WaPo reporters who wrote knowledgably about natural born Citizenship until May of 2008. They assumed that the public would not have the energy, intellect, or courage to overcome the campaign of ridicule - Birthers. Running against an ineligible McCain silenced the Repbulicans before the election, and made all Republican legislators complicit, keeping them silent after McCain's defeat. No one can know if they would have removed McCain had he won, but it seems likely. A law cannot amend the Constitution. This bill and resolution were agitprop.

born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the President of
America” on Thursday, 25th March, 2010. The parliament took down their site but I remember seeing it on there. Just my word though. WND has it in pdf form but sadly, I don’t see a screen capture of it. Hopefully, someone was smart enough to grab it.

The Constitution for some reason doesn’t spell out what the meaning of “is” is. Oh, maybe because it’s not a dictionary and the founding father had enough faith in the country to raise up citizens who understood basic concepts.
It was obvious "they" had something big enough to shut her up and kick her out of the race back when she was campaigning. No one puts Hill-baby in the corner. Of course she's got the goods, or as much as is still out there. She said the other day that this was it and she wasn't going to run next time. I believed her then and I'm believing her more now. This may be her quite little revenge of the woman scorned. She's ballsy enough to stick it out for the next two years. Her trump card may very well be The Donald. When it does hit the fan she can always claim that this was the only way for her to get the truth out.
St. George Tucker explains that three quarters of the meaning of the Constitution comes from our common law. James Madison, quoted by Mark Levin in Liberty & Tyranny, p37 “I entirely concur in the propriety of resorting to the sense in which the Consittution was accepted and ratified by the nation. In that sense alone it is the legitimate Constitution. And if that be not the guide in expounding it, there can be no security for a consistent and stable, more than for a faithful exercise of its powers...”
There is no evidence that anyone knew of Chester Arthur's ineligibility. There is evidence that Arthur concealed it, and misdirected the public by hiding his birth records - he was born in Vermont - but had a likely ally, Hinman, write a book alluding to Arthur's having been born in Canada. It served Arthur's purpose to have the press and public search for a hidden birth certificate.
Arthur had all his personal papers burned just before a death he was anticipating. It seems that Leo Donofrio and his sister are the first to have paid attention to the naturalization papers of Chester's father, among the remaining personal documents in the possession of a biographer of Arthur. Even the biographer, a very thorough historian, hadn't noticed the discrepancy.
Besides the extensive research, much of it original, in rxsid’s natural born citizen research thread on Free Republic, Leo Donofrio who opened the door to the real Constitutional issue, has re-opened his site, and Mario Apuzzo and Charles Kerchner have both addressed every issue we are discussing here - and should continue to address to help others understand.
Please keep up the excellent analysis. We all need to become teachers. There should be no egos. Our framers really did anticipate, and attempted to filter out, presidents with alien allegiance. It is hopeful that rxsid has an opportunity to explain to Trump's team the subtleties of natural born Citizenship. It could have been Patlin, Bushpilot, or half a dozen other virtual legal historians who have made FR our forum for discussion.
It would be good to recognize the most determined warriors for truth, Charles Kerchner, Mario Apuzzo, Leo Donofrio, and yes, Orly Taitz. Taitz, perhaps not so sophisticated in her legal reasoning, exposed the Berg subterfuge, explaining what we are now discussing, two and a half years later, that Kenyan birth, while if proven, would further clarify Obama’s ineligibility, his British father was sufficient proof that he was not eligible, not a natural born Citizen. She knew the meaning of natural born Citizenship (see her Dec 2008 press conference in Wash. D.C. with Berg). Taitz, seeing the futility of seeking redress in a politicized judiciary, ran for Secretary of State, to be confronted by a fraudulent opponent who was protected by the current Sec of State. Taitz exposed the value of Soros' Secretary of State Project. Dr. Lakin, while he appeared not to grasp, or didn't speak of, Obama’s alien birth - born a British Subject - he put everything on the line as true warriors do. He exposed the corruption of the military officers corp.
The more we can make the legal certainty of natural born Citizenship violation clear to the public, the sooner we can force resolution. Obama never cared, and must have another path plotted for his future. He may be counting on the total dissolution of our Constitution, and may have a another country of residence established. But remember, Obama never told us he was a natural born Citizen. He told us he was a Title 8 Citizen, "A native born citizen of the U.S.", which is probably true. He has been permitted to stay in office by a corrupt legislature and judiciary - a very sophisticated operation. While others see the impending destruction of our economy as the primary concern, I believe we can rebuild the economy, but only if our society honors and defends the Constitution.
Trump needs to read the discussion between Leahy and Chertoff on the meaning of TWO US CITIZEN PARENTS during Senate Resolution 511 which Obama signed his name in agreement with.
