I'm GLAD to see the reported comments by Dr. Chiyome Fukino recorded in the 4/1/11 MSNBC article by Isikoff.

Thankfully, the challenge to Mr. Trump is now VERY CLEAR, as is the direction he must now take in this critical battle! Trump MUST have his people on the ground in Hawaii contact Fukino and DEMAND that she record those same statements in an legal, signed and notorized DECLARATION.

If she does this, which I doubt, we will need to decide on how to proceed from that point.

However, if she refuses, TRUMP NEEDS TO IMMEDIATELY EXERT ALL THE FORCE HE HAS TO EXPOSE HER AND/OR MSNBC AS LIARS AND FACILITATORS OF 'OBAMA THE USURPER'!

– Of course, any Trump demand to Fukino for producing a sworn declaration should include several obvious and necessary extensions on her MSNBC interview statements.

These especially should include her declaration that the alleged BHO ‘long-form’ BC she claims to have seen, certifies that he was actually born in Hawaii!

If I was a leftist I would really want Bo to release his birth certificate immediately. This issue is heating up and becoming so “distracting.”

Adoption does not matter since a minor cannot legally renounce his citizen. IF Urkel was born a US citizen it cannot be taken away from him until he is of age to renounce it. Laws of other countries do not trump that. It all comes down to whether he was born a natural citizen.

B. won’t see him removed from office nor make his re-election unlikely.

We all know he is a liar.

If he was dual-citizenship for a while, or if he used, say, Indonesian passports for travel and/or student-aid applications while in college, that would raise an Article II issue as to NBC status, wouldn't it?

And if it eventuates that he was listed as "Moslem" on any of the aforesaid docs -- BC (as revised at the time of his adoption), or renaturalization documents, or collegiate docs -- then he just has a first-rate political ineligibility as the "secret Moslem" fans cry in unison, "Aha!!"

[ilovesarah2012] While this brief quote does not state WHAT article it is that Obama found, it does mention that he found it WITH his BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

GREAT post. You are right. He mentioned it in the book, it was rolled up, IIRC.

Problem is, Dreams from My Father has been studied closely and declared a ghostwritten book, most likely written (as he has boasted to others) by Bill Ayers. The analysis is not bulletproof (it's stylistic and statistical analysis) and has itself been criticized. But it corroborates Ayers's reported boasts and makes the entire book untrustworthy, and certainly details like this one questionable.

Tainted source. Like just about everything else about this guy.

In Jack Cashill’s book,”Deconstructing Obama,” he quotes an excerpt from Dreams from My Father,” that Obama found a newspaper article about his father’s departure for Harvard among papers that included his birth certificate and vaccination papers.

Ping to my last.

Well, someone should ask Obama about it. Either he found it or he didn’t and lied about finding it. He’s a liar, either way.

Dual-citizenship is not recognized by the US from what I understand so it would be irrelevant. Nor would I think that another country allowing a US citizen to use its passport (without a renunciation of US citizenship) has any impact on US citizenship. Only acts of this nation can affect US citizenship.

Political difficulties from being Moslem are a different issue but would not affect his eligibility legally. Nor would his adoption.

If he did not renaturalize on his return to Hawaii, but kept his Indonesian papers and passports, he'd have a hard time selling anyone that he was still NBC. I think that that is his real issue -- he used his Indonesian passports beyond age 21 and applied as an Indonesian citizen for certain collegiate benefits. If he did that, I think he has legal as well as political problems.

His adoption would not cause any NBC difficulties, I've been assured here in FR, as long as he renaturalized timely on his return from Indonesia. His father, I was told, could not alienate him as a minor on the father's own motion, as long as Barry renaturalized on his return. (And it isn't certain that he did -- his family were Reds and Bohemians, after all. His mother apparently kept her married name -- spelt "Sutoro" by her -- and her Indonesian citizenship until her death.)

My belief is that unless he renounced his citizenship as an adult nothing else matters and there is no need to “renaturalize” since acts as a minor are not legally binding.

I also believe that his school records would be embarrassing and fraudulent as well as being part of this citizenship problem.

But NONE of this changes the fact that his father was NOT an American citizen (if his own words are true) and therefore, Urkel cannot be a NBC.

“Somebody correct my memory but did Fukimo every actually say the Obama was born in HI or did she just say she viewed the birth certificate?”

In her second statement, she directly said he was born in Hawaii:

“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.

“No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai‘i.” STATEMENT BY DR. CHIYOME FUKINO October 31, 2008

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.” STATEMENT BY HEALTH DIRECTOR CHIYOME FUKINO, M.D July 27, 2009

Sadly both Governor Abercrummy and the guy who was the senior elections clerk in HI in 2008 both say there is no birth certificate on file for Barack Obama. The elections clerk said he was told more than once by the records dept that they did not have a BC for Obama and to stop asking about it. He and his staff called the Kapiolani Medical Center and were told there was no record of a Barack Obama ever being born there. So somebody has some splainin to do.

So, according to Wisch, the person who is the object of the birth in question is not a person with an interest as set out in the Hawaiian statutes? Do I understand that correctly?
