Yes, but this isn’t 1967 or 1973. Egypt alone has over 800 M1A1 main battle tanks. That is a lot of armor. Add Jordan, Syria, etc.....Without CAS, Israel is screwed....

They want a no-fly zone over Gaza to be imposed on Israeli aircraft, while rockets from Gaza into Israel will enjoy unrestricted airspace.

My point was that because Israel defends so well, one tactic is to use humanitarian pressure to prevent Israel from shooting at the invaders. No fly and ROR are similar in that way.
The deliberate sabotage of Mubarak was to put control of the Egyptian military into the hands of the annihilate Israel Jihadi. Egypt's military is a serious regional threat now.
If this happens, I expect Congress to move to impeach Obama. Even the Dims in the Senate would have no choice but to convict.

It’s a great idea. First seal the border which means no one from gaza will ever enter Israel again. Second, turn off all power and water to gaza.
While Israel is at it, put anti aircraft batteries right at the border and any launch into israel will be countered by Israel launching rockets into gaza. Give citizens rockets and let them fire away.
Now the push for the U.N. imposed no-fly-zone for Libya is becoming clear.
