The White House dissed Donald Trump Sunday as a "sideshow" with "zero chance" of becoming president, while defending a last-minute budget deal as a necessary compromise.
Chief advisor David Plouffe unleashed a barrage of stinging comments on Trump, who has recently trafficked in fringe conspiracy theories about Obama's place of birth while taunting America with hints of a presidential run.
"There is zero chance that Donald Trump would ever be hired by the American people," Plouffe told ABC's "This Week with Christiane Amanpour."
"I saw Donald Trump kind of rising in the polls and given his behavior and spectacle the last couple of weeks, I hope he keeps rising," Plouffe added.
"There may be a small part of the country that believes these things, but mainstream Americans think it's a sideshow," he said. "That's not leadership, that's kind of sideshow behavior."

All Obama has to do is “prove it”, then Plooupf may be correct.

Trump is less interested in being President than making sure that Obama is not.
Obama’s loss means Trump wins regardless of who is president.
Don’t refrain from considering that this is a setup from Obamanistas. Trump has give lots of money to leftists. He may have been encouraged to split the vote on the right.
Trump’s questions regarding Zero hiding his PC is the hot topic everywhere people are discussing politics. All the RAT’s protesting and laughing isn’t deterring anyone. IMO, when the heat reaches the appropriate level and someone thinks they’re TOAST, the evidence will surface after a deal has been struck. Ya think?
