A pretty big quake just hit again, to be expected, of course... but this one felt larger than the one a couple of days ago. If the region is the same NE coast), then it must have been about 7.5 or more..
I am ok.. was holding on to my monitor so it wouldn't fall off the desk again..

Felt pretty bad in West Tokyo (Kichijoji). NHK looks like it’s saying 6.0 off Fukushima. Not sure about that.

Drill it to the wall. That could go on for years.

NHK is calling it as 7.1 off of Fukushima. Let’s get some prayers up on the reactors!!!

Yep, that was a bad one. One has no choice but to get very tough mentally after all of this, one month of this. Either that or get out.
They have told the workers at Fukushima TEPCO nuke plant to get out. As expected. Nobody can work in such an environment under such shaking conditions. And I am sure it was MUCH WORSE UP THERE, than far away from here in Kanto. 5:16 7.1 MAGNITUDE. Japanese Shindo 6 (Fukushima, Ibaraki, Chiba, all those area). Tsunami reports not apparant yet. Probably not that much to generate big waves. Shinkansen (bullet trains) now working again. Life goes on..... ;-) 4:33 a.m. Eastern Monday -- AiT

Tsunami warning now for coastal area(s), but nothing like one month ago today. Radio telling people to get to high ground. Ibaraki Prefecture. No information when it will hit. I expect maybe only one meter (3 feet) tall. Lets hope that is all.
Most if not all the nuke plants are checking in with no reports out of the ordinary. But to be careful, they are ordering workers out of the Fukushima Number 1 plan work (they were working on cooling water). 6:20 p.m. wave will arrive (not sure where). 6:40 p.m. wave will arrive in Sendai.

People I chat with online say I must be nuts to just sit here and continue chatting.... All I can tell them is... “what else is there to do” :p

About half the distance from the original 8.9 epicenter to the volcano Mt Fuji.

Right. What else can we do? Fun outside and get rained on? That’s not going to help much.
