This does not surprise me a bit coming from Seattle. For those who have never been here, it is one strange and twisted city indeed. How twisted? Its the only city in the free-world that has a statue of Vladimir Lenin, and is proud of it.
Forgot to mention the solstice parade which includes dozens of Naked bike riders, that Seattle Parents happily bring their children to see.
Until 1966 a statue of Lord Nelson, British naval hero, stood proudly in Dublin, Ireland. Then one morning there was a big "bang"....
Maybe we can get some of those guys' kids over to visit Lenin...
