This is to much power. You're right, the child went through the metal detector. This is all about the power government has over the citizens. First, the child was not groped. The TSA inspector did a professional pat down of a person who had set off the metal detector.
As far as a child being used to smuggle explosives, it has happened a number of times. I could easily replace the draw string of her pants with a piece of det cord strong enough to bring down an airliner.

Really? There has yet to be a reported case where the TSA identified a terrorist going through security. There have been numerous reports of abuse of power and failed tests.
If the terrorists want to bring down a plane they will. This nonsense is only to provide the appearance of security and keep people buying tickets. Per the TSA it is also being used to acclimatize Americans to being searched. The TSAs goal is to move the checkpoints out from the gate area to other parts of the airport and eventually random locations throughout the city. Thats based on TSA public statements.
BTW, you are like the 1 in 1000 people that actually defends the TSA actions like this....
The ONLY people I know that defend the TSA and actions like this are people in government or people that knows someone in the TSA. The average American does not think highly of the TSA or thinks they are professional. Most people respect the Military, FBI, CIA because they are professional. When the TSA does this... It just looks REALLY BAD and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

When the head of the DHS (also over the TSA) makes a public statement that she considers Americans to be a threat its very revealing.
