If prices had done this under George Bush, the MSM would have gone wall-to-wall with the story line that "prices are going up because the President wants to help out his oil buddies." It would be pointed out, every hour on the hour, how much profit KBR, Halliburton, Bechtel and Fluor-Daniels are making from this price rise, and how many of the Bush family friends are in senior positions in those companies.

But since we have a Community Organizer as president now, why, there's nothing to see here, move along now, high prices are good for us.

Obama and the MSM will try to blame us for the high prices for refusing to use CFLs, drive Chevy Volts, carpool and turn down the heat. The MSM will go right along with it.
