I’d like to know how this compares Globaly.

Does anyone know where to see a breakdown of average gas prices for the Western countries?

It would be interesting to see how prices compare to per capita income.

Would like to see prices for Eastern countries in the same way too.

Most western nations put taxes on gas that are higher than the actual price of the gas. IOW they tax it at over 100%. The difference between $4 gas in the US and $9 gas in the UK is $5 in additional taxes

Can’t compare. European gasoline is grossly overtaxed. Refining processes are roughly the same, so the cost to refine in terms of man-hours is roughly the same.

Therefore, taxation accounts for the price difference. The tax on gas in Europe is far beyond that in the US.
