HA! LOL YEAH, look how great that turned out. They voted for that damned movie actor from Austria instead of the guy that could have turned it around. This is California. Movies trump commonsense me thinks.

Something trumps commonsense here.

Tom McClintock would have been the better choice, but that isn’t something the majority of Californian’s do apparently.

The costs of a recall today on top of the deficits here I think make a recall out of the question. Jerry Brown isn’t Gray Davis either.

The precedent for this renewable energy garbage was set by Ahnold the alleged “R”. Credibility would be a major problem therefore as well.

Too many reasons not to have a recall actually. The main thing will be to get the legislature out of the hands of the Leftist pirates that have absconded with the Ship of State.

Renewable standards in Texas are not set using percentage numbers. The use an a specific amount of megawatts.

The first Texas renewable standard was in 1999 and required 2000 MW by 2009. This was updated in 2005 to 5880 MW by 2015 and a target of 10,000 MW by 2025.

Thanks. I saw that one earlier.

Typical Jerry Brown isn’t it. Claim credit for something that isn’t. No budget deal, and the halfway claim is smoke and mirrors. All BS.

The guy is extraordinary. He knows most people don’t follow any of the detail, so he walks around waving his arms and thumping his chest which is their source of information, and they believe him. Ted Kennedy did the same thing.

"nuclear...the power generated would likely be replaced by the latest combined cycle natural gas fired plants."
Then the next stage will be for them to hike the costs of natural gas to some extreme so that they shut down the state once and for all. Madolf(sp?) is like a saint compared to these scam artists.

Let’s call the recall campaign “The Brown Out”. That title is so appropriate.

Never happen. The limousine liberal NIMBYs in CA don’t want wind farms and solar panels where they’d make the most sense (cents).
