to Mindbender 26: You are a mindreader, not bender. I was just going to write that, yes, there is something you can do when you catch the terrorists in the act, kill them. Out of uniform, belonging to a terrorist organization, committing acts of terrorism don’t give you Geneva Convention protect.
Shoot them on the spot or get them out of the country to someplace that is a perfect holding area for them, like Israel. There is plenty of room in the Negev Desert for them and if they escape, well, vultures have to eat, don’t they?
Our military command has no guts, no balls, and no sense, and that applies doubly to our “Coward in Chief”, and his military advisors.
My son served under Gen. Tommy Franks who wasn’t a wimp. When my son was fired upon, he fired back until there was silence and the enemy was dead.
Why are we putting up with this crap?
As someone on the other thread noted, connect the dots between this and the Stryker kill team story.
The Stryker Kill Team got into trouble for that. Solution: don't even take pictures, don't even take notes, and don't EVER talk about what you do outside the unit.
Every once in awhile we would catch a local VC setting up boobytraps or planting mines in the roads and we shot the SOB. They may have won the war but there were a lot fewer of them marching in the victory parade.
Nothing wrong with a little snip snip around the ear as well.
