We were that way here in Michigan but we’re fighting back against the “impoverished” $80,000 a year teachers. Rick Snyder has taken a different route than the states making lots of news. He’s not really taking them on directly but outflanking them and using administrative measures against them.
Fortunately, here in Pennsylvania there is an omnipresent state senate firewall against Democrat union thuggery. Even when the rats have the state House and the Governor’s mansion, the senate is dominated by Republicans. Like Carville once said, “Pennsylvania is Philadelphia at one end, Pittsburgh at the other, and Alabama in between.”
Union mischief is limited to the concentrated parasite nests (”cities”) and their nearby suburban districts.
