ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) -- A video company paid homeless men $50 to be filmed while scantily clad women punched, kicked and whipped them, according to a lawsuit filed this month in a Florida court.
Lawyers for two homeless men said the website www.shefights.net sells videos on the internet of the so-called "beatdowns," starting at $2.99 for a two-minute "sparring session" clip and increasing in price to $33.99 for a 33 minute clip of two women beating a man.

It’s disgusting how low society has sunk. All we can do is recognize it for what it is and try to retain our own humanity.
I would pay to watch an American politician stripped naked and then whipped. Executive Branch, Legislative Branch or Judiciary Federal or State, doesn’t matter.

Society has always had a dark underside where people want to see violence and death. The best example is ancient Rome. Today we still marvel at the Colosseum today. You see it today when someone gets attacked on a public bus and on the video you see some of the other passengers hooting and egging on the attackers. You also hear it on some "shock jock" radio shows where someone volunteers to be tasered or hurt in some other way for money.
I agree that this is wrong on so many levels. It exploits the weak and helpless and is evil, even if the homeless men "volunteered" to do this. Its a very sad reminder of the barbarism that is below the surface of our society.
