It just hit me upside the head like a ton on bricks!!! I think that there is a STRONG possibility that he will just write an executive order to raise the debt limit. Your thoughts on if he will and what do you think the blow back will be? He went to war with Libya without going to congress.
It will cause a ruckus. The House of Reps controls the purse strings, not the President.

Dude,,,,you just creeped me out. Declare national emergency, then do it. I think the ONLY thing that would stop him is that the lenders would see it as a massive increase in risk. But i think if he could get them to play ball,,,he would happily do it.
Were he to do such a thing, his Secret Service protectors would walk away, the Pentagon would stop taking his orders, and the Supreme Court would suddenly become EXTREMELY interested in his birth certificate and the meaning of “natural born citizen.”

10-4 I concure. I pray that the American people wake up because it is really getting scary. I’m trying to get my family to start taking this stuff seriously. My mom believes it but would rather ignore it because it scares here and my dad just rolls his eyes, so I feel like I’m all alone out here.

I think he will simply end the fraud of ‘borrowing’ QE1/2 and switch to outright printing money.
Could also bypass the taxing part and simply seize funds from all accounts holding more than $100,000. Given current drug laws he can simply claim that such a large amount of money could have only come from drugs.

That would be a good thing. There would be NO excuse, even from Dems for him not to be impeached. If they didn’t impeach him, THEN you would have deluxe trouble from the inmates. I don’t think anyone, even a Constitutional moron, could make enough excuses to save his arse. Makes me wistful that Byrd was still alive so he could go to the floor in his white hat and demand a lynchin, while holding his little pocket Constitution. He might even call him a “negra” on CSPAN.
Before considering whether "he will", lets consider if "he can".
EO's are ONLY for how things are run within the executive, thus they have no control over the debt ceiling. They do have control over executive branch budgets, however. But, he can't just deem that those budgets are trillions higher.
Since the House of Representatives is responsible for the purse-strings, I don’t think he could do that, unless he declared martial law first, which would cause far more problems than the debt limit not being raised.
He has no need to though, since there aren’t enough Congresscritters with gonads who would refuse to raise it.
It’s interesting to speculate about, but why would he have to do that? The House will vote to increase the debt limit without any coercion whatsoever.
