Governor Tim Pawlenty to headline Greater Boston Tea Party Tax Day rally (RINO Suck-up Alert)

The Greater Boston Tea Party will hold its third annual Tax Day rally on Friday, April 15th, 4:00 – 6:00PM at the Boston Common Bandstand.

The Greater Boston Tea Party is an all volunteer, non-profit public policy advocacy organization that works to restore and defend the Constitution of the United States. Formed in 2010, the organization conducts open-to-the-public rallies, meetings, candidate meet-and-greets, grassroots activist trainings and legislation education events in the Greater Boston area.

Members of the organization are excited to welcome Governor Tim Pawlenty’s message of fiscal discipline to our annual Tax Day TEA Party rally. ”Governor Pawlenty’s leadership in Minnesota has put his state on a course towards economic success,” said Christen Varley, President of GBTP. ”His is a message voters need to hear.”

Flashback:

Pawlenty Raises 'Moderate' Flag At Republican Governors Conference

"After HUMAN EVENTS reported the halting of Palin’s press conference, corroboration of our take on what happened came from another media source: “Another Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012 told CNN the event [Palin’s press conference] was ‘odd’ and ‘weird,’ and said it "unfortunately sent a message that she was the de facto leader of the party."

(snip)

The “Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012” appears to be Minnesota’s Tim Pawlenty. Pawlenty used his time at yesterday’s roundtable discussion to cast himself as the “modern” Republican while casting aspersions on the traditional conservative message, calling for outreach to the “new demographics,” deriding the GOP for allegedly being 15 years behind in the use of the Internet, and calling for the party not to be led by “a crank.” Pawlenty appears to have John McCain’s penchant for attacking conservatives rather than those in the other party.

Pawlenty in Miami was publicly angry, agitated, and even cranky, possibly because he found himself at odds with the far more conservative tone of every other speaker here. Hundreds of RGA members, who paid thousands of dollars to attend this Conference, wildly applauded “red meat” conservative pronouncements by speakers and not the more moderate and conservative-jabbing words by Pawlenty. And then there’s his “Palin problem,” real or imagined, that hit the fan yesterday in front of the national media, possibly upon the insistence of Pawlenty himself, as the above-reported comments to CNN by an anonymous presidential aspirant indicate."

Oh, and in other news...

Organizer: Romney wanted in on Trump's tea party gig

All of these RINOs despise the TEA Party and think we're suckers.

The Tea party movement was not formed to become an arm of the OP(aka the GOP). It was formed because people were disgusted with both the OP and the RATs. That was the prevailing attitude at the Tax Day Tea Party rally I attended on April 15th, 2009. Unfortunately overtime the Tea Party movement has gravitated towards the OP.

The Tea Party movement needs to understand the OP rose to power in the mid 1850's and the RATs sometime before. Both have controlled Congress for nearly 160 years. During that time both groups have expanded Congress's powers far beyond the enumerated powers in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution. They have become two factions of one big Socialist Republicrat machine instead of two disntinct parties.

The Socialist Republicrat machine will do whatever it takes to retain their power. They will continue to play the good cop, bad cop routine on the American people to give the appearance at least one of them is fighting for the people. This 160 year scam will only end when Conservatives and the Tea Party movement sever their ties with both the OP and the RATs either by forming a second party based on strong Conservative values or uniting as unaffiliated voters.

In other news, Sarah Palin is going toe-to toe with the union thugs in Madison tomorrow.

Dem's/unionists flood Wisconsin Journal-Sentinel with negativity ahead of Palin's Tea party visit

I bet Pawlenty doesn't need a security detail for his visit to Boston.

The first Tea Partiers:

Just remember the original intent of the first Tea party. It was a revolt against taxes imposed by the British government on tea.

“Governor Tim Pawlenty to headline Greater Boston Tea Party Tax Day rally”

He’ll be there to further explain how a cigarette “fee” isn’t a tax.
