First and foremost, folks have to understand that the crap is about to hit the fan. If the general public gets this.. then Congress can be swayed. Ultimately, the failure of the latest round in the Budget process was because the Overton Window.. is not where people are trying to avoid an immediate crisis. They are all still thinking we can play at this for years to come.. even as the storm approaches.
As far as Congress goes, all of them. Other than the passionate communists, we know where they live. They are our neighbors and our friends and relatives. At some point, they all hear the screams. Witness the quick passing of the extension of the current tax rates.. in the tank or not.. once a national will crystallizes all but the stupidest ideologue sees that they will be fired for not listening.
If folks say no more borrowing, they will deal, but this has to be serious and not coming from a few people whining on the periphery.

It will not matter how many people speak up and say no to raising the debt ceiling, it will happen and as you have shown it will result in America being lost. There will be no 2012 Tea Party victory, and no going back. Get ready for hard times.
