I think you’re absolutely right. The Guardian readers are furious with Americans for taking over their online rag. We rightwingers often go there through Drudge, make comments, and infuriate the truly lowlife Brits who gather there. I’m mean low-life Guardian readers, not all of the British!

Well, they’re in the tank for Obama. The newspapers are mostly liberal and won’t print anything bad about Obama. The British press - not liking ANYTHING about America, lol, do not defer to him as much (well, maybe the Guardian does...) So we all go over to the Daily Mail to see what they’re saying.
mucker is another UK slang term for mate or in US slang a buddy
muckers generally refersto the group of blokes you either fight alongside (Army) or hang around / go on the piss with (on the piss = drinking down the pub) with (civvy term)
