Liberals on Tax Day: 'Make the Wealthy Pay' Monday, April 18, 2011 By Susan Jones
(CNSNews.com) - America is not broke, liberal activists say. The problem is that many corporations and millionaires are not paying their "fair share" of taxes.
Supporters of MoveOn.Org have organized more than 300 gatherings around the nation on Monday to demand higher taxes on corporations and wealthy Americans who are "raking it in and continue to get tax break after tax break."
Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported on Monday that while wealthy Americans pay less tax than they did a couple of decades ago, 45 percent of U.S. household pay no income taxes at all.
Monday is the deadline for filing federal income tax returns.
"The right-wing wants to convince us we're broke so that they can push through their radical agenda," which includes slashing public services, eliminating workers' rights, and destroying jobs, MoveOn.org said in an email message to supporters.
"It's time to demand that everyone pays their fair share to rebuild the American Dream. We invite frustrated taxpayers, underwater homeowners, vilified public servants, job-hunting students, and unemployed veterans -- everyone facing cuts or cutbacks, a pink slip or a shrinking paycheck -- to join in."

I made the mistake of stumbling into a Chicago forum a while back. The sense of entitlement was astounding.
An editorial had run in one of the papers there suggesting that maybe Chicago shouldn’t have the control over the great lakes due to the fact that they have the smallest actual stake. That enraged the locals.
HOW MUCH IS “YOUR FAIR SHARE”???
In Medieval times the Serf’s were REQUIRED to give up 50% of their daily output, They were considered SLAVES.
Currently the average Middle Class Family pays roughly 50% of their earnings to Government. Couple that with the Chains of insurmountable debt being passed on thru GENERATIONS to Hundreds of Millions of INNOCENT CHILDREN. I would like to know just HOW MUCH IS MY FAIR SHARE??

If you’ve ever listened to the song “I’d Love to Change the World” by Ten Years After, you are familiar with the liberal illogic of higher taxation on the wealthy:
Tax the rich
Feed the poor
Till there are
No rich no more
The purpose of higher taxes is not to help those less fortunate, but to punish those who have the audacity to succeed. Liberals always claim they are trying to help, when in fact, they are really trying to destroy.
