The technocrats, political and economic, frequently forget to account for the human side of whatever they are talking about. If you are discussing something that affects/affects humans you must include the human factor.
This error is why the economy is “recovering” but remains flat. until the humans that make the economy work agree that the recovery has taken place the economy will remain flat.
This failure of liberalism, theory, extends to everything they touch and they don’t understand why.
