I visited Argentina a few times in the late 90s/early 00s when the company I worked for was doing a big project there.
If you even say "Falklands," the Argentines get all wound up and correct you, telling you it is Malvinas.
We were friends with several Argentines - we did it just to get a rise out of 'em. ;-)
