Militarily, yeah. They can't field an army that will storm over the Fulda Gap anytime soon. Sure, it's strong enough to punk out a former Soviet Satellite like Georgia but they aren't a threat to Western Europe. It's not 1985.
You're right about the muzzies, but they aren't taking it over militarily. They're taking it over because Europe is allowing them. Why should we bother defending people that don't care to be defended? By keeping troops there, they are needlessly being targets for something that is not in America's strategic interests. It might send a signal to these Western European powers to get on the stick and defend yourselves. By us being there, they will never get the message.
