Why did Mitch oppose right to work legislation? I was out there somewhere in neverland when that came out and totally missed it.
He said it "wasn't the right time". This despite the fact that Indiana just elected Republican majorities in both branches of the legislature. If now isn't the right time it's never gonna be the right time. Bottom line - Mitch didn't want to cross the unions and perhaps damage his presidential chances. He's your classic RINO politician in the McCain mold.
