The Greatest Generation were the Worst Parents Ever.

Hate to complicate the neat little construct some are building here, but the greatest generation, who defeated fascism and imperialism, also created the Great Society. The lost generation gave us the New Deal.

Fixing blame aint always that simple, folks.

Not all of them. My parents were awesome. I’m sorry your experience was bad, I wish you could have been raised by mine.

My parents were great! They survived the Depression and WWII so they were tough, they had seen hard times. My parents were very strict by today’s standard would be considered child abusers. I always knew without a doubt I was loved and cherished by both of them and they taught me so many things that I didn’t even realize until later in life. I wouldn’t trade being raised by them for anything.
