I’m confused. Nancy planned to fund CHIP from cigarette taxes although the Dems said they hoped the increased tax would reduce smoking. Now they want to eliminate menthol to further decrease consumption. So with less money going to fund CHIP I’m sure the Dems will soon announce that the scope and cost of the program will be reduced.
