3—Most British people, then and now, had NO problem with a Jewish homeland, in 1945 the sympathy for Jews was total.
What we then and now had/have a problem with is HOW the Jews gained their homeland. There was NO need and there is NO justification for the terrorism of 1944-47.

4—Your downplaying of the terrorism is frankly disgusting. British soldiers were bombed, murdered and even in one notorious incident, two unarmed soldiers were tortured to death and their bodies boobytrapped.
