I wonder what the demographic makeup of this governor's area is. It seems hard to believe he would have been appointed to rule over anything but a majority-Christian province in the first place.
We should have tried harder in the Crusades. Hindsight is 20/20, but it's a darn shame for all the generations that have come since.
