Serious question for gun experts: .410 shotgun shells are usually fired from a clean tube. Wouldn’t the rifling in the barrel cause the outer layer of shot to leave the barrel with an added circular momentum that would carry it out of the usual pattern, spreading the group? That would mean fewer pellets on target at a particular range, wouldn’t it?
