Newt Gingrich stated that OIbama was "perfectly fine, extraordinarily brilliant and sadly, shallow". I agree but I'm fed up with Republicans calling Obama 'brilliant' or, in Newt's case, "extraordinarily brilliant" when Obama cannot speak coherently without a Teleprompter and slavishly follows Marxist doctrines even as he sees them reap nothing but failure. He's passably intelligent but hardly "extraordinarily brilliant". Enough, already!

Newt is very vain about his intellect, and he'll never be president.

So for Newt, Obama, who did make it to the White House, just has to be "extraordinarily brilliant" whether he really is or not. Otherwise, Newt would think there's something wrong with Newt.

Gingrich said much the same thing about Clinton when Clinton was president. Now he says Clinton's a regular, common-sense guy.

Don't know whether he said Bush was brilliant, though.

Obomba speaks very fluently when he doesn’t have to process his words through a filter. If you’ve heard him speak to liberal groups, where he can be the Marxist that he is, he speaks coherently and quite well. He’s just an extremely poor liar, at least when he’s not reading the lies, and that accounts for all of the stammering and pausing during interviews. He needs to hide who he is, so he has to think first about what he’s going to say, and then say it.
