First Lady Michelle Obama and media mogul Oprah Winfrey reportedly despise each other. Rumor has it that the feud began when Michelle Obama became jealous of Oprah "for having [her] hubby's ear." But now, she wants Oprah to publicly endorse Barack Obama's bid for re-election in order to "rally the female vote he needs to win a second term." But it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
“Oprah bluntly told Michelle there’s a problem," reports an inside source, "and it’s business, not personal. Oprah’s convinced that her original public endorsement caused the widely reported erosion in her ratings. Now she’s fearful that if she repeats her personal public campaign for Barack Obama, it could undercut female viewer support for her new network, OWN. It’s a real dilemma.”
Oprah has relented enough to book the Obamas on her May 2 show, but insiders say that she's also informed Michelle that will probably be the end of it.

Oprah should have known that before she went all out for Obama in 2008. People don't like for entertainers to force their personal preferences in politics on their audiences. Audiences go elsewhere.
Oprah is a huge promoter of the New Age movement.

Obama took 500 or so of his best friends, cooks, drivers and Secret Service with him to Copenhagen for the failed Olympic bid. Obama used two US govt planes, scores of govt personnel, and other govt resources. It was widely suspected that Obama made a personal appeal to the IOC, to benefit the personal interests of slumlord Valerie Jarett, PR man Axelrod, and the rest of the Chi/mob's hidden financial interests.
