BENGHAZI, Libya (AP) -- U.S. Sen. John McCain called for increased military support Friday for Libya's rebels, including providing weapons, training and giving close air support to the opposition in the battle to oust Moammar Gadhafi.
McCain, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, said at a news conference in the rebels' stronghold of Benghazi in eastern Libya that he did not believe U.S. ground troops are in order.

I thought we were limited to enforcing a no fly zone,AND, that everything we were doing was in concert with other countries and UN resolutions.
I thought we were specifically not taking sides in the conflict. I thought we wanted to prevent a bloodbath of civilians, and work towards a cease fire.
Aren’t many of these rebels are allied with Al Qaeda and Bin Laden?
Do we know what we are getting into in Libya? While Gadafi is a tyrant, do we really want an Al Qaeda state in Libya instead???????

We should attack every country in the world and embroil ourselves in a prolonged low-intensity guerrilla non-war for 10 years in every location on the globe.

Let Islamic countries manage their own revolutions. That way we won’t be giving military support to the same people we recently called al-Qaeda. Send McCain over to help the “rebels.”
Gen. McCain never met an Islamic Terrorist he couldn’t give more weapons and ammo to.
