There was nothing random about the search. The police are allowed to act on suspicion. They obviously didn't expect to run into a weirdo who buys an expensive piece of equipment to grow a freaking tomato.

I knew a guy who grew tomatoes. He dropped seeds into the ground.

The police probably apologized and moved on. Meanwhile what does this guy do?
