Comparing one person's income to another's is by definition, envy, if to further or engender a sense of outrage.

Why do you believe that the difference occured? Do you have a problem with the difference in increase? And what do you believe should be done?

Call it what you want. I think cops and other government bureaucrats retiring at 50 years old with 78 percent of their pay for life, with top shelf medical benefits for life, all on the tax payers dime, is obscene not to mention an unfair crushing burden on the tax payers.

Same with CEO's making 1000 times average workers pay, who's wages have been basically stagnant for a decade

You see no problem here.

I see a big problem.
