Do we need to have this discussion AGAIN. Its the “myth of the hispanic voter”. Lumping together people who share only a language, and then expecting them to vote as a bloc is mindless. No one lumps me together with Australian immigrants. The cultures of Cubans, Dominicans, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, et al. couldn’t be any more different. Can’t we just skip these articles all together? And for those who think all Hispanic immigrants are “Mexican”, you’ve obviously never been to the Northeast. Central Americans and Dominicans conitnue to pour into here.

I thought I made that clear when I outlined how different Hispanics would vote differently.
