Why are Republican legislators sticking their head in the sand over this issue?

They are afraid of what will happen if Obama is disqualified.

One could wager that contributions to the Repub party and its pols would spike dramatically upwards if Boehner subpoenaed HI for birth records and the NBC issue was presented to the USSC

As our nation slides toward the cliff, your question may be one of the most important questions of our history. Assuming anyone is around to write an honest history of what happens.

The only credible excuse can be that they had quality intel that Clinton posed a greater threat to national security.

My money, however, says they just didn't have the necessary courage to stand up and defend the Constitution with a challenge during the Joint Session; which was the sole reason they convened the Session.

Because McCain and company were just as complicity as the democrats in hiding this scandal. If the truth comes out there will be some very embarrassing Republican skeletons coming out as well.

You know this issue has legs when the associaition of democrat governors is circulating a fund raising letter asking for money to stop the states from eneacting eligibility laws.

When I saw this last week, I knew there is some very, very damaging information on that document.
