Yes, they do. Add to that the general drift of Americans to the political left. The Reagan landslide of 1984 was the last of its type in favor of the conservative movement.
We on FR often like to believe in a conservative resurgency in America... but the demographic facts don't bear it out. IMO, the best hope is a breakup into two, maybe three entities.
