Well then it’s more on Clintonian policies.

Look, I’m not saying Obama is making the situation better, but to tie him and the events in the Gulf of Mexico for barely one year directly to high gas prices that are occuring right now is silly. There are multitudes of factors, most of them outside the US’s control.

Some are out of our control, yes. But the Gulf of Mexico situation only continues to have impact on oil prices because Obama has defied 2 federal court orders and continued to enforce a ban on offshore drilling as a result of the G of M oilspill. Many drilling platforms have moved from the Gulf to foreign waters as a result. Meanwhile, Obama goes to Brazil and gives them a big loan to drill for their own oil while our domestic oil industry moulders.
