~ EXCERPT ~
Voter confidence that the nations best days are still to come has fallen to its lowest level ever.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that just 31% believe Americas best days are in the future. Thats down three points from last month and is the lowest result found in polling since late 2006.
Fifty-three percent (53%) believe Americas best days are in the past, also the highest measurement in over four years. Sixteen percent (16%) are undecided.
Separate polling finds that only 22% of Likely Voters believe the United States is now heading in the right direction. That ties the lowest level found during Barack Obamas presidency.

Unless the Republicans nominate a Libertarian it is all over. Only Paul or Johnson in the White House might save us. Paul would have beaten Obama. Another RINO and you can pack it in.
This, along with the IMF saying China will over take us in a few years should not be a surprise. A nation cannot export jobs, capital, and technology for decades and expect to stay on top.
The same 22% with STRONG postive support of Imama Ozero in Rass' latest poll.
I’d be a lot more hopeful if we didn’t have a President like Obama, and other Gov’t servants such as Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Hoyer, Boxer, Franks, etc. As long as voters are willing to elect liars, frauds, and thieves such as these, we are in big, big trouble!
Hello LU, I have often been considering how I would handle it if BO won a second term. I don’t think I would do well in that regard. Bad enough this past election but to imagine another four years I would almost be ready to find another country except I do love our homeland.
Unfortunately, 52% blame the economic problems on George W. Bush. Only 38% blame Obama for our current economic problems.
Read the faulty, misleading wording of the poll questions on this. Answering honestly, I'd have to side with the 52%. I'm going to contact Scott Rasmussen about this, as the meaning is ambiguous resulting in completely inconclusive results.
If he wins another term, I will be asking my doctor for anti-depressants. Relocating to another country would be nice if I could afford it. This really isn’t anything like the America I grew up in. Probably wouldn’t even miss it.
Johnson’s pro-queer and pro-drugs. Ehh...
What is the wording?
Cannot get over a couple young fellows from Brazil came here to visit their father, they are Americans but moved to Brazil several years ago. The father had to warn them to be careful what they say here in the states.
One of the things they said was Brazil has far more social freedoms than the US but far less political freedom.
Oh, please. Wrong Paul polled all of 3% last time around.
So, this must mean the reelection of 0bama is meant to hasten its demise.
We need a good, solid CONSERVATIVE Republican to fix this mess. I mean one who can be elected (which Paul could not).
Seems the beatdown smear job of the BO rhetoric is having its desired effect. What isn’t to hate about the kenyan goat herder we call a president?
The three biggest threats to America in our history have been socialists: Obama, Hitler, and Stalin. Sadly, the most dangerous of the three now holds power in our country. America has never faced a greater danger in our history. Our best days are certainly not the present.
