Radical Muslims, Environmentalists, and the Green Jihad
Accuracy in Media ^ | 4/25/2011 | Mark Musser

Rep. Keith Ellison, the Muslim Congressman from Minnesota who shed tears in protest over the congressional hearings on the growing radicalization of Muslims in the U.S., wrote the foreword to a book entitled Green Deen: What Islam Teaches about Protecting the Planet. In Arabic, “deen” means religious creed. The author of Green Deen is Ibrahim Abdul Matin. He wrote his book to demonstrate that there is a close relationship between Islam and modern environmentalism.

It turns out Ellison would have been a good witness to how Muslims are being radicalized as foot solders not only for global Jihad but for a “green” future. It is an unholy alliance that threatens our future but which escapes the attention of media predisposed to believe that radical Muslims working with environmentalists could only produce positive results.

What is fascinating is that Matin works in New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s environmental planning department as a policy advisor for New York City’s long term sustainability, and was one of the Muslims promoting the idea that the new mosque being considered near Ground Zero ...

7th Century Earth had no cars or industrial smoke-stacks but “the religion of peace” wants us all thrust back to that time. Yes, Islam promotes a “green” civilization.

Yes, that kind of world is much easier to control and stay on top of.

You’ll have a hard time convincing me that Islam is green. Islam is about power.

Islam also mandates a high birth rate and social conditions that enforce it. That isn't "green". Muslim industrial production and GDP is horribly low and maybe less energy intensive. Yet at 6-10 kids per woman, the birth rate more than overrides any benefits of lower consumption per peon.

The over-grazing of the Sahara, too, because of the adulation of the nomadic grazing lifestyle is also overwhelmingly Muslim cause. Same problem for the Middle East deserts and Central Asian ones - the marginal areas saw native Christian and Zoroastrian farmers killed, Muslim migratory herders moving in.

Yes, of course you are absolutely right. However, I am not sure that the Green Movement is really about being green either. Their lust for power is just as great as any Marxist or Muslim.

The Green Movement has been co-opted, and is heavily allied with the Marxists. That said, there are a lot of airy-fairy well intentioned useful green idiots. The Muslims and the self-declared Marxists are a lot more serious than your average tree-hugger. That's not to say that there aren't fanatic eco-terrorists, of course. Put differently, there are a lot of greenish idiots along for the ride, but there aren't too many "Muslim-ish" Islamists.

In a later meeting with the American Congress, the two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam "was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise."

For the following 15 years, the American government paid the Muslims millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages. The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800.

Not long after Jefferson's inauguration as president in 1801, he dispatched a group of frigates to defend American interests in the Mediterranean, and informed Congress.

Declaring that America was going to spend "millions for defense but not one cent for tribute," Jefferson pressed the issue by deploying American Marines and many of America's best warships to the Muslim Barbary Coast.

The USS Constitution, USS Constellation, USS Philadelphia, USS Chesapeake, USS Argus, USS Syren and USS Intrepid all saw action.

In 1805, American Marines marched across the desert from Egypt into Tripolitania, forcing the surrender of Tripoli and the freeing of all American slaves.

During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines, finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy.

Jefferson's victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, We fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea."

It wasn't until 1815 that the problem was fully settled by the total defeat of all the Muslim slave trading pirates.

Jefferson had been right. The "medium of war" was the only way to put and end to the Muslim problem. Mr. Ellison was right about Jefferson. He was a "visionary" wise enough to read and learn about the enemy from their own Muslim book of jihad. The whole story...

The idea that the green movement is made up of a bunch of pushover sissies is actually a misnomer. Environmentalism has its roots in German Romanticism which blew up into Nazism in the 1930’s. Furthermore, when Marxists became green, they are showing themselves moving over to fascism. Fascism is based on nature (see Daniel Gasman’s works on this). Marxism is based on humanism. Many in Germany moved away from Marxism to fascism in the early 20th century.

They are like locust. They move in and devour everything until nothing is left.

Large scale pesticides are required to remedy the situation.
