I know. It’s part of the reason stated for his donation to Rham.

I wonder if the same people who defend Trump will do the same for Romney? They are two peas. Although I love watching the show, Trump is making rinos and libs mad.

IIRC Emmanuel’s brother is Trumps agent.

That's correct.

Trump explains that in his interview with Rush Limbaugh:

Rush Limbaugh / By Popular Demand: Donald Trump

Rush also asks him about his democratic donations. Trump answers that he's from NY, which is a heavily democratic state. Also, Trump says, in some campaigns, republicans may not even run a qualified candidate.

A chart of his political contributions shows he gives to both, more democratic than republican, but clearly not solely democratic, and the majority to the 'other' category.

It seems to me that Trump's explanation in the interview can be taken at face value, i.e., his donations are of business interest.

It doesn't matter because Trump told me it doesn't matter.

If that's not absolute proof he's a conservative...then some of you will never be happy!

Trump...redefining conservatism!!!

Trump would run this country like he runs his business empire ...like an high priced hooker, his interest comes first.

Basically:

He has to do business. In order to do business, you must pay up -especially in cities like Chicago and NYC. If you don’t - you can not build a fricken cardboard box.

You have to be very neutral in a sense-you do have to be generous to both parties.

Sorry - but that really is the reality of the situation. If you want to be successful, you cannot pick and choose. You must have ENORMOUS tact and flexibility. You will never put through a real estate deal without it.

It does not mean you sell your soul. It means you comprehend that others indeed have.

Don’t you find it curious that the media is in attack mode over Trump’s previous donations to Democrats, yet this same media was applauding a “Maverick” 2008 Republican nominee, one who had actively supported much of the Democrat agenda and came very close to switching parties and running on the Democrat ticket 2004.

I wasn’t sarcastic in my question and appreciate the answer. We have our consultant group here in Hollywood and even though I would gladly rip the throats of every liberal customer I encounter, I have to deal with them professionally because it’s a business.

My “ire” wasn’t directed at you at all. It was a comment to the entire viewing audience. Your name was the last one on the thread at the time, so I clicked on it as a vehicle to post, not as a response to you. Many people do this, which may not be the best idea, especially if someone as touchy as you is the last to post and thus is subject to the possibility of the next person jumping on there. But as you decided to take it personally, don’t. My comment made no reference to you, and was a response to the general gist of the thread. Sorry if it somehow offended your sensibilities, but geez, ease up a bit. You’ll feel better.

So what you are saying is money over principles. Great just what we need. What on Earth are you doing on this website if you are so liberal? (I know you are not because I have posted back and forth over the years with you but on this one topic you are wrong).

Trump explains that in his interview with Rush Limbaugh:

Seems like a lot of explaining on Trump’s part for his extreme liberal views. I still can’t believe that anyone would want to support a baby killer. Yes he said that he would accept abortion on extreme conditions. Yuk! Baby Killers don’t get my vote EVER.

I well remember Sarah Palin was extremely popular with the dems (and RINOs) in AK. Then when they realized she was actually a conservative, the knives came out with a vengeance.

Will see if the Donald’s bought friends now jump the shark and turn on him.

if he finds the Kenyan birth certificate

The Diversion Continues.

Even if Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama had been birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House he is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Trump serves Trump. Sarah serves God and she loves free America. Trump loves bennies, Benjamins, mean green. Who are you going to trust with our country or what is left of it when Obama is done flushing it.

Trump is not a conservative, doubtfully a Republican or even a good RINO... but I really like seeing him hold the fire to the POTUS feet. Never would even consider voting for Trump... no way.

The Koch brothers also made a large contribution to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, DC. They are responsible for a very large and impressive exhibit on the evolution of man. There are casts of fossils like Lucy and many others, and especially skulls from 7 million years ago to the present.

Trump stirred up the GOP and got a lot of people asking questions. I am sure he has no intention of running for President. He values his freedom to much for that.
