US Constitution specifically reserves all federal legislative authority to Congress, not the president. In other countries, executive edicts can serve a legislative function.

We forget Barry is remaking our country to become as other countries....par for the course he is taking us on...and he's not going to let up either.

And just how much time does it take to initiate that which you’ve spoken, let alone carry it thru? Therefor it won’t happen...not enough time. But a great idea nevertheless.

It’s like Trump using the birth certificate issue, is not so much if or not he has one as Trumps attacking Barrys credibility. Trumps constantly hammering on the smaller issues and it’s got the whitehouse in damage control...and occupied as it does the media.

From Obamas Ex. Order.....heads up!

“All entities submitting offers for federal contracts to disclose “certain” political contributions and expendatures that they have made..... WITHIN ‘TWO YEARS PRIOR’ TO SUBMISSION OF OFFER!”

Which ones are “certain?”......and interesting it covers this election period.

The problem getting people excited about this issue is that it seems nitpicky and abstract to everyone but patriots. "The president wants companies that do business with the government to disclose their contributions to groups. Right now they only have to disclose their contributions to candidates."

YAWN!

I agree it’s a ploy to get companies to NOT contribute...but not so sure how companies will play this. It’s asking them to lay it on the line by contributing and not so sure they’ll risk it all for an election.

This adminisrtation is abusing it’s power in every way as well as the American people. You know we knew they would play hardball..fast and heavy handed...but I would not have believed possible the American people would not revolt against the actions they are taking. We are still playing softball in the little leagues while they are playing hardball in the big leagues.

Am I naive to conclude that this transparency will include Barry`s missing school records and even the dreaded Birth Certificate?

I think that the companies know that this election is a make or break situation, not just for individual companies, but for the country. Even the Supreme Court is allowing the election to determine the direction that this country will take, whether toward a socialist one world government or to stick with the constitution.

Any company who thinks that playing ball with Obama is a winning situation, is deluding themselves. This is a John Galt world we are entering.

A timetable for impeachment of czars is not that bad, because there are several possible good outcomes from the process.

1) Shining light on the cockroaches.
2) Trying to drag them before congress to testify, which sets up a fight with Obama. Then a majority vote to cite them for contempt of congress, which is forwarded for criminal prosecution. The contempt of congress process needs to be revitalized.
3) Squeezing the senate to assert its authority to confirm presidential advisers, not just cabinet officers. Either they oppose czars, or they lose institutional power, something of which they are very sensitive.
4) Putting not just this president, but future presidents on notice that czars are unconstitutional, and an intrusion on the authority of the US senate.

Ironically, most of this work would be done in committee, so it won’t interfere with the House agenda otherwise.
