You ever see a REALLY good competitive shooter with a bolt gun?
Bolt gun competitors like to joke that they prefer bolt actions because they can cycle the action as fast as they want. A semi-auto or self-loading action is slower, because they have to wait for the action.
And for some shootists, that’s the truth.
Most people who shoot Walmart grade bolt guns (eg, the Rem 700 action) have no idea just what the potential of a bolt gun could be.
Depends on how you define *competitive.*
