Glenn Beck was talking a while back about the leftist tactic of using a ‘diamond formation’ - placing operatives in the crowd to maximize effect with minimal numbers, coordinating timing to draw it out. It sounds like that here. Good for West not being cowed by their nonsense.
That is not a new tactic. You can get a crowd clapping at applause lines with two people.
Last fall, the DE RINOs pulled the same stunt on Christine O’Donnell at a supposedly Conservative meeting. Three guys started an argument over homosexual “marriages”. The initial instigator had been sitting next to officials of the state party.
So it’s not only the left; but ALL anti-Americans.
It’s part of the Delphi Technique, used by Alinsky and other community organizing groups. When they’re running the show, they call themselves “facilitators.” They figure out who the troublemakers are in a group (i.e., conservatives or libertarians) and isolate them by saying “reasonable people would agree....” and when you disagree, that means you are obviously not reasonable.

I’ve never said this before (because I consider it rude), but since you mentioned “diamond formation”, take a click on my tag line.
It's an old Communist Party trick.
